Immanuel and Prince of Peace Lutheran Parish
Taylor, Texas

In these troubled times, Lord, open our eyes and help us once again stand fast in liberty - as one nation under GOD - and realize the only path to Ultimate Freedom is through YOU.

Happy moments, PRAISE GOD.
Difficult moments, SEEK GOD.
Quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD.
Painful moments, TRUST GOD.
Every moment, THANK GOD.

Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren

Welcome friends! We are eager to tell you about our family in Christ!

We are a dual-congregation parish in the one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church and a member of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church.

The purpose of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Amerca (ELCA) is to enable people to know Jesus Christ and gain eternal life. The Church is built on Jesus Christ as its foundation, is guided by the Word of God, as found in the Old and New Testaments, and is strengthened by the Sacraments. It does so in accordance with the Lutheran Confessions, which are true interpretations of the Word of God.

The Immanuel and Prince of Peace congregations are historically rooted in our central-Texas community, and exemplify a step back to a more relaxed and peaceful time.

also known as West Taylor

Our congregations are comprised of long-time parishioners, as well as new friends, who have moved into the community and have chosen to worship with us.

We are a small, but very active Parish, and are committed to outreach and ministry within the neighborhood and surrounding community.

You will find our congregations aspire to worship that is beautiful, reverent, traditional and inspiring.

Take a moment to view this breathtaking video entitled "The Interview with GOD". It will inspire you to take stock in your life, recognize and focus on the important gifts and opportunities that God has given you, and live in the "present", while you are on this earth.

In these troubled times, Satan is at work trying to distract us from the Light with dark news from Wall Street, crooked politicians and untethered greed. But now more than ever, we must not focus on what we do not have... but rather on what we cannot lose.

We welcome you to join us at anytime. Our Pastor, the Reverend Jack Bohls, is available to minister to your needs, and our members are eager to meet you and welcome you into our family.

For information on our worship services, please visit our Sunday Worship page, and for directions to our congregations, please view the Locator Map.

We're saving a place for you!
